Dual Diagnosis Treatment an Integrated Approach

Wellness Resource Center provides affordable addiction treatment to men and women, ages 18 and older, who are suffering from dual diagnosis of psychiatric illness and chemical dependency. In a safe, nurturing environment, our patients overcome habitual, self-defeating behaviors and begin to take positive steps toward optimal health and wellness. Through our individualized, integrated approach, our patients strive for wellness in all areas of life – physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual.

Our multidisciplinary team of licensed mental health counselors and master’s level therapists uses a wide variety of treatment approaches tailored to the individual needs of each patient. When a client’s needs are consistently met over an extended period of time, they are able to develop the tools needed to manage their addiction and achieve life-long recovery. Psychiatry, intensive psychotherapy, and 12-step addiction work are woven throughout all phases of treatment, along with a wide selection of experiential and expressive therapies. By achieving a healthy balance in all areas of life, patients who come to Wellness Resource Center get well and stay well.

When patients choose Wellness Resource Center, they gain a treatment family that guides them through life in sobriety. Whether a client requires primary, extended, transitional, or continuing care, Wellness has a program that can help at every stage of the addiction recovery process. Initially, all patients receive full-time addiction treatment, but as they make progress toward recovery, patients can gradually reduce the level of care they receive and begin transitioning into community living. During this transition, we help our patients find housing and jobs, develop a budget and manage their money, and continue on with 12-step meetings and individual and group therapies. We guide our clients every step of the way and offer our full support long after substance abuse treatment ends.
