Mental Illness can afflict anyone. Whether it is a child who can't function in school, a mother exhibiting signs of schizophrenia or a drug dependent father who becomes part of South Florida's homeless "problem", it is not just the individual who suffers. It is the family, too, who watches this individual slip away from them, sinking deeper into isolation and hopelessness, that is equally devastated by mental illness.
Fortunately, many such families have long recognized that they have a place to turn for help.
